A step by step guide on how to place an order.

There are several ways to place an order with
Toy and Model.com, the quickest and easiest of which is via our secure online system.
Below is a step by step guide of how the ordering system ( and the site in general ) works.
If you reached Toy and Model.com via a search engine, you might not have entered at the home page which is where we will start in this example.
Every page has text links at its base, and on the left of the bottom line is one to the "Home Page"..........

Once you have arrived at the Home Page you will see a screen like the picture on the left. From here there are a few ways to get to the product pages.
1.) You could click on a text link in the first paragraph.
2.) You could click on one of the images ( if you move your mouse over one of the main images, a yellow text box should appear saying "Click here to go to the ...........page" ).
3.) You could click on one of the text links at the base of the page.
4.) You could try a search for a particular product and click on the relevant answer that appears.

In this example we shall purchase some Thomas Movie products, so if we clicked on the "Thomas & Friends" logo we would be taken to......

....The Thomas Index Page. On this page there are links to all the different Thomas product pages and a link to the Thomas puzzle.
Here we would click on the picture of Diesel 10 which would take us to.....

....The Thomas Movie product page.
Each product page follows the same format with an image of the product next to its description and an "Add To Cart" button.
Click on any of the thumbnails ( small pictures ) to see a larger version.
To place an item in the shopping cart , click on the "Add To Cart" button next to the item description. If you wish to order more than one piece of an item, change the amount in the "Qty"
( quantity ) box.
The shopping cart with its contents is displayed at the base of each product page.
If for any reason you want to remove an item from the cart, click on the eraser next to the item in the shopping cart.

In the cart displayed below you can see we have selected two items.

When you have decided to finalise your purchase click on "Place Order" at the right of the bottom line in the links underneath the shopping cart. This will take you to the.....

....Order Page.
If the items are to be delivered to an address in the United Kingdom mainland click on the Red bar with the Union Flag.
If the items are to be delivered to an address outside the UK click on the Black bar with the globe.
For this example the goods will be delivered to an address within the UK , so clicking the Red bar would take us to the.....

....Postage & Packing Page.
This is where we add the P & P charge.
The Standard UK Delivery charge is £5.50 per order
So here we would click on the "Add To Cart" next to £5.50 in the box that says "Please add the Postage and Packing Charge to proceed" - this then automatically takes us to the.....

....Final check page.
Here you would have a final check to make sure you have the correct items and the correct postage & packing before clicking on the button to send the order securely via Secure Trading.....

We use Secure Trading to carry out your credit / debit card transactions as it offers you the highest security available.
Once you have filled in your card and address details and sent them over their secure network, they notify us by email of your order.
The only details we receive are the items you want to order, your delivery address and your email address.
You will be sent an email from Secure Trading to tell you your card has been charged. They do not send us your card details.
Stock items are despatched by the end of the next working day at the latest.
